On June 27, 2015 Twyla Sketchley presented Elder Law Issues for Veterans & Military Retirees at the 2015 Military Law Symposium at the Florida Bar Annual Convention in Boca Raton, Florida. Ms. Sketchley discussed Florida’s new criminal Exploitation laws, changes Florida Guardianship Law, changes to Florida’s unlicensed practice of law (UPL) due to the Florida Supreme Court’s recent opinion defining what constitutes UPL in Medicaid planning (SC14-211), and proposed changes to the rules regarding eligibility for VA Pension and Aid & Attendance.
