Elder Concert is a statewide multidisciplinary elder care conference. In the past 16 years Elder Concert has brought geriatric care managers, elder law attorneys, professional guardians, accountants, social service agencies, social workers, facility administrators, health care providers, government employees, financial advisors and other professionals important to the quality of life of the Florida senior’s.
Elder Concert is expertly facilitated and has open interactive sessions for dynamic and effective adult learning. In this way, each profession is learning from the other professions. The Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys (AFELA) is the founding organization of Elder Concert. From the beginning, we allied with other leading elder care organizations such as the Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar, Florida State Guardianship Association, Alzheimer’s Community Care, Florida Geriatric Care Managers/Aging Life Care Association, Florida, Department of Elder Affairs, The University of South Florida and Florida Atlantic University. Elder Concert helps bring elder care professionals together for the greater good.
The Sketchley Law Firm is collecting donations of shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, socks, adult diapers, hand sanitizer, lotion, mouthwash, denture cleaner, and hurricane supplies for the clients of OPG. Deliver donations to The Sketchley Law Firm at 3689 Coolidge Court, Suite 8, Tallahassee, FL 32311 until July 25, 2019 at noon.
